CNPS-SD will host an information table here on June 1 during opening weekend of the San Diego County Fair.

At 1pm on the Home Sweet Home stage there will be a panel discussion of California Native Plants with chapter members Edmond Piffard, Daniel Bellino and Vincent Bellino.

We combined our traditional Flower Festival with other Fair Art and Garden Show exhibits to make this the largest art-inspired garden party of the summer! Our presenting sponsor, Albertsons|Vons will be on hand to advise you on choosing flowers for artful vase arrangements. Other attractions are music, food and beverages, amazing chalk art, market artists, organizations and societies, and much more.

For two decades La Jolla Historical Society’s Secret Garden Tour has provided the opportunity to step into the extraordinary world of La Jolla’s private gardens. In addition to plants and landscaping, the Tour includes opportunities to explore unique designs and in the company of garden enthusiasts and friends. La Jolla’s tour often includes historic homes and unique architecture, and the gardens are made special with live musicians, plein air artists, and dining table designs. The Secret Garden Tour provides financial support for the Society’s exhibitions and educational programs.
