Mission Trails Regional Park (MTRP) Visitor Center

Featuring 140 species and varieties of California Native Plants and much more!

Everyone is invited to shop, browse, and learn at a California Native Plant Sale presented by the Mission Trails Regional Park Foundation and the California Native Plant Society San Diego Chapter. At the two-day event, veteran gardeners and newcomers can purchase a wide selection of native plants and seeds, books, and merchandise, and get tips from native plant experts. Proceeds from the sale will benefit both organizations and their collective mission to educate, restore, and appreciate the native habitats of our region.

This event is free and open to the public. Parking will be impacted in the Visitor Center parking lot and along Father Junipero Serra Trail, so we have arranged to have open-air Old Town Trolleys for shoppers’ use. Two trolleys will run during the sale, one for those parked in the Jackson Drive parking lot and another from Patrick Henry High School. More details about shuttling and the routes will be provided closer to the sale date. Shopping later in the day is encouraged, and plant stock will be replenished throughout the sale. Bring your own plant carts for an easier shopping experience; there will be a Plant Hold Area for pick-ups for those not parked in the Visitor Center parking lot.
