Moosa Creek Nursery Annual Sunset Sip'n Shop

Registration and ticket sales are now open for our Sunset Sip and Shop. We had such fun at last year's Sip ‘n Shop that we have been persuaded to make this an annual event. Come and enjoy the beautiful valley location, meet other native plant enthusiasts, learn about Moosa Creek's Tough As Nails plants for San Diego, and be the first to hear about our news and events. You will get to taste some wines from our local wineries, along with locally raised handmade cheese and appetizers.

We are proud of our local Valley Center growers who work hard to provide sustainably produced healthy fare. This will be an evening to savor, experience the bounty of our valley and look forward with anticipation to the landscapes that will be created.

Tickets: $25

WaterSmart Landscape Makeover Workshop Program Escondido

The WaterSmart Landscape Makeover Series is an educational program that will empower you to upgrade your high-water-use turf area into a WaterSmart landscape. This is done through four classes with lectures, hands-on lab work, demonstrations, homework assignments and one-on-one coaching by local landscape and irrigation professionals, all at no cost to you.

It's a Four-Class Series
The WaterSmart Landscape Makeover Series is a four-class series. Your enrollment means that you've committed to attending all four classes. What you learn each week will build upon the knowledge you've gained the previous week. The big payoff is waiting for you in the last class - an hour of one-on-one coaching with a local landscape professional focused on your project!

To participate in this series you MUST meet the following requirements:

  • be a homeowner

  • identify an existing turf area for removal (brown or dead turf that is evident in a recent, original photograph is acceptable)

  • have an in-ground, working irrigation system (sprinkler heads, irrigation valves or controllers shown in a recent, original photograph are acceptable)

  • commit to attending all four classes in the series

  • apply online and be approved for enrollment

The two upcoming series are:
Wednesday Nights in Mission Hills: July 10, 17, 24, and 31, 2019
and
Saturday Mornings in Escondido: July 13, 20, 27, and August 3, 2019
