Learn more about the diverse habitat restoration that Nature Collective leads throughout San Diego County, including the San Elijo Lagoon Restoration Project; this $120-million undertaking has improved tidal flow by widening the San Elijo Lagoon channels, enhanced critical habitats by installing thousands of native plants, and created areas of refuge by creating sea level rise stepping stones for wildlife. You will also learn more about our onsite native plant nursery and how coastal dune plants thrive at Cardiff State Beach and Batiquitos Lagoon, thanks to our efforts. Lastly, you'll learn about our incredible riparian restoration work along Escondido Creek.
