email list server

The San Diego Chapter of the California Native Plant Society welcomes you to the cnpssd-L email list. The list welcomes postings relevant to appreciation and conservation of San Diego's native plants, including education, science, advocacy, horticulture, and land stewardship.

Updates to our software give you the option of receiving a "daily digest" to reduce inbox clutter (see below). Or you may find it helpful to set up "folder" or a "rule" in your email program, to transfer posts into a specified folder. To make this easier, each post will contain "cnpssd-L" in the subject field.

Also, we have set a size limit of 250 KB to avoid clogging your downloading lines, so keep your attachments small. (If you have a large attachment, ask people to request it from you.)

This list is normally unmoderated - it's the responsibility of the users to maintain civility. Please keep posts friendly. Avoid "reply-to-all" unless you are pretty sure that several hundred people want to see your reply. Posters who are deemed by the list managers to be disruptive to the goals of the list will be moderated or removed.
